Description
The East Formal Garden steps, located in the southwest corner, were built in 1908 by Achille Duchene. Made of limestone, the structure features two flights of five steps each, accompanied by plain balustrades and piers with panelled sides. These steps are part of Duchene's design for the East Formal Garden, which was created for the Ninth Duke of Marlborough. Blenheim Park, where these steps are situated, is listed in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
