Description

This barn and stable range, located approximately 20 meters west of Cringle Crags, is likely from the early 18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with squared marlstone quoins and features a corrugated-asbestos roof. The building has a three-bay plan with central doors that are lower at the rear, and there are slits in the outer bays. To the right, there is a small stable that has similar stonework. Inside, the trusses include collars, ties, and two rows of through purlins. This structure is included for its group value.
