Description

The Wayside Cross in Gagingwell is a probably late medieval structure made of limestone. It features a very large square base that stands on a three-step plinth. The base has rounded brooch stops that form an octagonal top and retains the short stump of a square shaft. This cross is scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
