Description

No. 4 Brown's Lane is an 18th-century house that has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a brick stack at one end. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The central entrance is a 20th-century door with timber lintels above it, flanked by 20th-century two-light casements. Additionally, there are two 18th-century dormers with hipped roofs. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is likely to be of interest.
