Description

The George Wells Memorial is a chest tomb located about 27 yards southeast of the south porch of St Mary's Church in Chipping Norton. It commemorates George Wells, who died in 1842. The tomb is constructed of ashlar stone and features a moulded plinth and cornice, along with shaped, incised panels.
