Description
The garden wall to Sandford Park, located from The Green and extending approximately 90 metres to the southwest, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble topped with a flat marlstone coping. The wall stands about 2.5 metres high and serves as a retaining wall for the gardens of Sandford Park, which borders Mill Lane. This structure is included for its group value, as Sandford Park is also listed in the HBMC County Register of Gardens at Grade II.
