KIDDINGTON WITH ASTERLEIGH KIDDINGTON SP42SW, SP4122 4/78, 10/78 Barn approx. 50m NE of Home Farm Cottage (not included)

Barn. Late C17. Coursed limestone rubble with corrugated asbestos roof. Five bays. Pairs of slit vents to sides with small lozenge-shaped openings above, and triangular-shaped owl-holes in gable ends. Central hipped porch to south. Opposed cart entrances with wooden lintels, that to south-west weatherboarded and that to north-east with sliding doors. Interior: vents with splayed jambs and wooden lintels. Collar and tie-beam roof trusses and pairs of purlins.
