Description
This barn, dating from the late 17th century, is located approximately 50 meters northeast of Home Farm Cottage. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has five bays and includes pairs of slit vents on the sides, with small lozenge-shaped openings above them, as well as triangular-shaped owl-holes in the gable ends. There is a central hipped porch on the south side. The barn has opposed cart entrances, one on the southwest that is weatherboarded and another on the northeast with sliding doors. Inside, there are vents with splayed jambs and wooden lintels, along with collar and tie-beam roof trusses and pairs of purlins.
