Description

The bale tomb, dating from the late 17th century, is located approximately 5 meters south-southeast of the south porch of the Church of St. Giles in Standlake. It is constructed from limestone and features plain, worn inscription panels along with a panelled end. The tomb has an unguided cornice and spiral fluting, with skulls set in shell hoods at both ends.
