Description
Kings View is a 17th-century house located on Bladon Park Street. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a 20th-century brick ridge stack. The house has a two-unit lobby-entry plan and is one storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range. Notable architectural details include stop-chamfered timber lintels above a late 19th-century four-panelled door, which has a flat slab as a hood, and late 19th-century three-light wood-mullioned windows. There are also two hipped dormers with late 19th-century two-light casements. At the rear left, there is an early 19th-century wing built with similar materials. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
