Description

This is an 18th-century barn, likely built in the middle to late 1700s, situated approximately 15 metres southwest of Hill Farmhouse. The barn is constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble with alternating angle quoins, and has a concrete tile roof. It features wide entrances on each of the long sides, with square openings and triangular air vents on the northwest side. The interior is open to the roof, featuring a king-strut roof in 7 bays, with raking struts extending from the king struts to the principal rafters, and double butt-purlins. The majority of the rafters are original. Hill Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
