Description

The Lindrens is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with a late 20th-century extension. It is constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble and features stone slate roofs. The building has two storeys and a gable-lit attic, with a three-window front. The windows are leaded casements, which may be original, and have wooden lintels positioned directly below the eaves, with one additional lintel on the tower to the left. The ground-floor right's original window pattern has been altered by a late 20th-century lean-to that includes a contemporary half-glazed door and possibly reused leaded casements. The roof slope has three irregularly spaced gable dormers. Integral ashlar end stacks feature moulded dripstones and capping. The interior could be of interest, but it was not possible to inspect it during the last survey in August 1987. The lower 20th-century extension with gabled half-dormers to the left is not considered to have special architectural interest.
