Description

The bridge over the River Glyme, located on the west side of Horseshoe Lane, dates from the 18th century and features some alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed from squared and coursed limestone with ashlar dressings. On the right side, a cutwater separates two round arches, with similar arches on the left. The bridge includes an ashlar string course and chamfered coping. A plaque in the nearby church notes that Reverend Charles Lee, who died in 1841, made an endowment for the bridge.
