Description
This woodshed, located approximately 15 meters southwest of Little Peacocks, dates from around the 16th to 17th century and features a cruck truss. The structure was largely rebuilt in the 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone and has a stone slate roof. The woodshed consists of a high block with one bay, which has an altered doorway and a casement window on the northeast side, along with a vent slit and a small square light in the northwest gable. The northwest gable partly encases a full cruck truss with a collar, although there are no remaining traces of the original purlins or bracing. This building is included for its group value.
