Description

The Lawns is a house with probable origins in the 18th century, which was extended in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and features ashlar chimneys. The building has a roughly L-shaped plan. The main part of the house, which is two stories high and has two windows, is located to the southeast and includes raised quoins and glazing bar sash windows. There is a lower, two-story extension with one bay that also features glazing bar sash windows. Additionally, there is a two-bay extension to the northwest, which has a door with a bracketed open pediment.
