Description
Wheelwright Cottage is a wall house, likely built in the early 18th century, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a stone-slate roof and rubble gable stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and includes an added rear outshut. It stands two storeys high with an attic. The front facade has three windows, with a central plank door situated beneath a small window, while the outer bays contain three-light casements. On the far right, there is a stone-roofed bread-oven projection. The right end wall, which faces the road, features a small attic window in the gable.
