Description

White Horse Cottage is a cottage that was formerly part of a row, dating from the mid to late 17th century with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble and features a straw thatch roof. The cottage is one storey with an attic.

The ground floor includes a prominent bow window on the left, a leaded casement window with a wooden lintel in the center, and a 20th-century ledged door on the right. To the right of the center, there is a flat eyebrow eaves dormer that contains a 20th-century two-light leaded casement window. A stone ridge stack with a dripstone and moulded capping is located immediately to the left. There is also a 20th-century lean-to on the left and a flat-roofed addition to the rear, which are not considered to have special architectural interest.
