Description

This chest tomb, located about 7 yards east of the south porch of St Mary's Church, is in the style of the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar and features a heavy moulded cornice. The tomb has corner columns topped with crude floral capping. A distinctive aspect of this tomb is the strapwork escutcheons located on the ends and on the south side.
