CLANFIELD A4095 SP20SE (East side) 2/3 Gate pier at N.G.R. SP 2857 0091 (approx.40m E of Friars Court) GV II

Gate pier. Probably early C18. Limestone ashlar. Square section with moulded plinth and projecting capping surmounted by onion-shaped finial with ball top. One of a pair at principal entrance to Friars Court (q.v.). [2292]
