Description
This building, located about 30 meters southeast of the Bury Barn Inn, is presumably a former cart-shed that has been converted into a small house. It dates from after 1812, likely in the mid-19th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble with a slate roof and features coped verges. On the north side, there are two windows, which are three-light casements with keystones, and a wide segmental entry on the west side. A notable feature is the reset irregular broken tracery set in a panel above the west entry. Additionally, there is a segmental stable entry on the south side. The reset tracery may originate from buildings that were once on the site, as there is documentary evidence of manorial barns existing here in the 16th century.
