Description

The Minchin Memorial is a bale tomb located about 19 metres south-west of the porch of the Church of St John. It dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features four-panel long sides, with the east panel dedicated to Elizabeth Minchin, who died in 1712. It has a moulded cornice and a plain hipped bale.
