Description

This chest tomb, located immediately south of the Minchin Memorial, dates from the early 19th century and is built in the "bale" tradition. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features panelled sides, fluted end pilasters, a moulded plinth and cornice, as well as stepped capping with hipped coping, all of which reflect the characteristics of the "bale" tradition.
