Description
Dove Cottage is a cottage, likely originally a dovecote, that dates from the mid to late 19th century and probably includes some earlier materials. It is built of rubble and features a hipped Cotswold stone roof topped with a ball finial. The cottage has two storeys and consists of a single cell. It has 20th-century casement windows, and there is a single-storey extension at the west side that serves as the entrance. One theory suggests that this cottage was used as the kitchen for the Almshouses located over 30 yards away.
