Description
The south west boundary wall of St John's Churchyard, along with two sets of gates, gate piers, and kissing gates, dates from the mid to late 19th century. The wall is constructed from coursed and dressed rubble, featuring sloping coping and low railings with a trefoil design. It encloses the path that connects Church Lane with Lawrence Lane. There are two sets of three ashlar piers topped with pyramidal caps. The gates and kissing gates display designs including lancet, trefoil, and quatrefoil motifs.
