Description
This is a threshing barn and granary built in the mid-18th century, located approximately 25 meters northwest of Poplar Farmhouse. The structure is made of roughly coursed limestone rubble and features roofs of corrugated iron and asbestos sheets. The barn has a wide central entrance with corrugated iron doors, as well as a cart entrance at the rear. To the left is a slightly lower granary, which has a plank door on the first floor that breaks the eaves, accessed by external lateral steps. There is also a plank door on the ground floor. Inside, the barn has a double-purlin roof supported by three bays with raking struts connecting the tie beams to the principal rafters, and it retains original thatching spars. This building is included for its group value.
