Description
Old Man Leys Farm Cottage and the farm building range, located approximately 20 meters north of the farmhouse, date from the 18th century. The structure features a granary on the left and stables, with the first bay on the left being a later addition. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and has a 20th-century cement tile roof. The building is arranged in an L-plan, with the cottage situated in the wing to the right. It is two storeys high and has three doorways with plank or stable doors. There are first-floor entrances to the left and to the right of the center, both accessed by stone external staircases. The ground floor has four openings, some fitted with 20th-century casements, and all openings feature stone flat arches. The first floor has three openings, while the cottage itself has a blank front wall. The left return side has two windows with 20th-century casements, and there is a door and window in a blocked segmental archway on the right. A 19th-century brick ridge stack is also present. This building is included for its group value.
