Description
Old Man Leys Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed squared limestone with quoins. It features 20th-century plain-tile roofs and stone valley stacks with brick shafts that have oversailing courses. The building has a two-span plan with gables at both the front and rear, standing two storeys tall with an attic and a four-window range. To the left, there is a lean-to range that is one storey and has an attic. The main entrance has a late 20th-century door. Most of the window openings have stone flat arches, although one two-light casement above has a wooden lintel. The windows are primarily mid and late 20th-century casements. The left range has three-light casements on the ground floor and two-light casements above, along with a two-light attic casement. The smaller right range has a ground-floor window in an altered opening with a concrete lintel, an old two-light part-leaded casement above, and a two-light attic window. The rear facing the garden is largely similar, featuring a late 20th-century door and overlight in an altered opening to the right.
