Description
This building is a shelter shed and dairy, now used as an office, cafeteria, and bookshop. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a hipped stone slate roof. The front has six bays with braced posts, and to the left is the former dairy, which features a 20th-century door and window. Inside, there is a nine-bay collar-truss roof with butt purlins. A plank partition separates a feeding passage along the rear wall. Additionally, there are 18th-century limestone rubble walls with ashlar coping that extend approximately 15 metres to the left and about 7 metres from the front left corner. A curved limestone rubble wall partly encloses the yard at the rear.
