Description

A house, later used as a shop and restaurant, was likely built in the late 17th or early 18th century and was refaced in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with a stucco front applied in the 19th century. It has a gabled roof covered in stone slates and a stone ridge stack. The building originally had a three-unit plan. It is two storeys high and has three windows across the front. The ground floor now features 20th-century shop and restaurant fronts. On the first floor, there is a late 19th-century three-pane sash window, as well as two 20th-century windows. The interior of the first floor was not inspected but is likely to be of interest.
