Description

No. 41 Corn Street is a house dating from around 1800. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with dressed quoins and dressings, topped by a gabled concrete tile roof and featuring brick end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a two-window range.

A stone bracketed open pediment hood is positioned over a blocked doorway, which has a 20th-century window. To the left of the doorway, there is another 20th-century window set in a rendered surround, while to the right, a carriage entry is topped with a timber lintel. The house features segmental stone arches over the 20th-century windows and hipped dormers that also contain 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected.
