Description
The Holly Bush Public House is a building that was originally a house, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with end stacks made of stone finished in brick. The building has a two-unit through-passage plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying a two-window range. The central 20th-century door is topped with a timber lintel and has a flat hood, flanked by 20th-century windows. A hipped roof dormer is present above. At the rear, there is an 18th-century one-storey service range made of coursed limestone rubble, which has a gabled concrete tiled roof on the right side. To the left, there is a two-storey wing added around 1840. Inside, the building features chamfered beams.
