Description
31 Corn Street is a house dating from the 17th century, with a refronting and alterations made around 1800. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, with a stucco front wall. It features a gabled stone slate roof and has a right end stack made of stone finished in brick. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a two-window range. A 20th-century door is set in a raised and triple-keyed architrave. There are 6-pane sash windows set in similar eared architraves, with a 20th-century window to the left of the door. The house also has two mid to late 17th-century gabled dormers. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
