Description
Nos 1-3 on The Street is a block of three dwellings built around 1890 in the Cotswold vernacular style by architects Sir Ernest George and Alfred Yeates. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone with stone dressings and features a gabled stone tiled roof with two stone ridge stacks. It is a long two-storey range with a central gable, two gables at the rear, and one-storey entrances on either side with projecting curved porches to the east and west. The third entrance is located beneath the central gable on the south front. The windows are four-light mullioned with leaded casements, and the doorways are Tudor-arched with flat hoods supported by carved brackets, leading to plank doors.
