Description

The village pound, located approximately 30 meters west of the junction with Fairthorne Way, is a structure of unknown date, likely from the 19th century, with later repairs. It is made of stone and has a rough rectangular shape measuring 10 meters by 5 meters and standing 1 meter high. The walls are constructed from coursed flat rubble, topped with stone coping set on edge. There is an opening in the west wall that features a five-barred wooden gate. This structure is included in the register primarily for its historic interest.
