Description

This chest tomb, dating from around 1801, is located approximately 8 meters north of the chancel of St Giles's Church in Great Coxwell. It commemorates William Whitfield, who died in 1801. The tomb is rectangular and made of stone, featuring angle balusters, an oval inscription plaque adorned with garlands, a triglyph frieze, a cornice, and a shaped top.
