Description

This is a row of three cottages, now combined into two dwellings, dating from the 17th century. The front of the cottages is roughcast, while the rear reveals exposed timber framing. The roof is covered with old tiles and features brick stacks. The cottages are arranged with a four-unit plan, presenting a five-window front across two storeys. The front doors are late 19th-century plank doors. The right-hand side of the front has late 19th-century three-light casement windows, while the first floor to the right has an 18th-century three-light leaded casement. The lower floor on that side has a 20th-century casement. The roof is gabled with two ridge stacks and one internal rear stack. A rear window is an 18th-century two-light casement. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
