Description

No. 1 Southampton Street is an early 19th-century house constructed of rubble stone and brick. It was raised by one storey later in the 19th century. The building is three storeys tall and features a plain tile roof with brick stacks at the end walls. The upper floor and the south end wall are made of brick, and the house has a two-window range with brick sides to the openings. The central entrance has a flush panelled door, while the ground floor has modern windows. On the first floor, there is one glazing bar sash window with side lights and one two-pane sash window. The second floor contains one glazing bar sash window and one pair of casement windows.
