Description
Nos. 33 and 35 High Street is a house that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the 16th century, with a possible later cross-wing on the right. The exterior is roughcast over timber-framing, with a fragment of an archbrace visible in the center and thin timber-framing on the left side of the right cross-wing. The roof is made of old plain tiles and is half-hipped. There are brick ridge stacks and lateral stacks on the left return of the left cross-wing and on the right return of the right cross-wing. The building has a U-plan layout, is two stories high, and features a three-bay rear range along with two two-bay cross-wings. There is a plank door on the left return of the right cross-wing. The windows are arranged irregularly and include casements and a horizontal sash on the ground floor of the right cross-wing. The interiors have not been inspected.
