Description

Two cottages, forming one building, likely of 18th century origin. They have a gable end facing onto Winsmore Lane. The cottages are one storey high with attics. They feature a tile roof and are faced with white painted rendering over a rubble base. Four gabled dormers break the eaves, and there are casement windows with glazing bars. Each cottage has two windows on the ground floor, with flat-arched casements featuring glazing bars set within segmental brick rusticated architraves. The doorways are similarly designed. A central carriage entrance has double doors.
