Description
No. 52 on East St Helen Street is a building from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of brick, with a half-timbered ground floor, and has two storeys, the upper of which overhangs. The building features rough rendering on part of its surface and has a rubble plinth on the right side. The roof is tiled, and there is a wooden eaves cornice. On the upper floor, there are two windows with flat arches and flush frames, fitted with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The ground floor has two windows that are boarded up, and there is a plain door framed in wood architrave. At the time of the survey, the building was in a derelict condition. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 2 to 60 (even).
