Description

This is an early 19th century brick house located on the south east side of East St Helen Street. The house is constructed of red brick with a tile roof and extends over three storeys. It is situated on a corner site, curving to fit the angle. There are three windows on the front elevation, each with a flat arch above a double-hung sash window with glazing bars; the central window is blocked. The ground and first floor windows have carved flat stone lintels with a keystone, and there are bands delineating the storeys. The main entrance features a six-panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight, itself set within a flat stone arch with a keystone and a flat hood supported by console brackets. A blue brick plinth runs along the base of the building. Numbers 2 to 60 (even) East St Helen Street form a group.
