Description

The buildings at 8 and 9 Turnagain Lane date to the 18th century, and may incorporate an earlier structure. They are timber-framed buildings of two storeys and attics. Each building has two gabled dormers with casement windows. The windows are arranged in groups of three, with flush frames and double-hung sashes containing glazing bars. Number 8 has a roughly rendered first floor, while Number 9 has plain rendering on the ground floor, which is brick with a rendered plinth. Both buildings have three plain doors with flat arches. A rood cornice runs between the ground and first floors.
