Description
The buildings at 5 and 7 Bridge Street date to the early 19th century, although they likely incorporate an 18th-century timber-framed core. Originally two separate buildings, the left-hand roof is tiled, while the right-hand roof is taller and slate-covered. They have a two-window front elevation with moulded flush window frames and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The first-floor windows on the left have a frieze and cornice. The windows on the right-hand side have been altered, featuring 'Jacobean' canted oriels with lead roofs, set on plinths above a wooden fascia board. The ground floor is modern.
