Description

This early 19th-century building, part of Scott’s Terrace, is constructed of blue and red brick with a tiled double roof. It is two storeys high and has two windows on each floor. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, each set within a flat stone lintel. The ground floor is painted, with a rendered plinth and two windows with flush frames and glazing bars. A wooden cornice runs between the ground and first floors. Number 26 features a four-panel door, the upper two panels being glazed, and a rectangular fanlight. Number 28 has a six-panel door and a rectangular fanlight. The building forms a group with Roysse’s Court, The Crown and Thistle Hotel, and numbers 26 to 32 (even).
