Description
New Lodges with Gates and Piers, built around 1895, are a pair of lodges for Buscot Park, likely designed by Sir Ernest George. They are constructed from ashlar stone in a one-storey neo-Georgian style. The lodges have a square plan, featuring stone tiled pyramid roofs and central corniced ashlar stacks. There are parapets and modillion cornices around the building. On the road side, there are two windows, including a curved three-window bay and a plain window. The drive side has a similar bay and window, with a door situated between them. The windows are fitted with glazing bar sashes. The entrance is marked by four stone gate piers topped with ornate iron gates and ball finials on the taller inner piers.
