Description
13 and 15 North Hinksey Lane is a house that has been divided into two dwellings, dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a gabled concrete tile roof with symmetrical stone stacks finished in 20th-century brick. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. The second bay from the right contains an arched cavetto-moulded doorway. There are three 3-light and two 2-light stone-mullioned cavetto-moulded windows. To the left, there is an early 19th-century one-storey bay made of limestone rubble, topped with a gabled old tile roof and featuring two leaded casements. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest, and there is a central internal stair-turret and an outshut at the rear.
