Description

This is a house located in North Hinksey Village, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is built from coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof with symmetrical brick stacks at each end. The house has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The front has a 20th-century plank door with timber lintels and flanking two-light casement windows, as well as two-light dormer casements in the roof. To the left, there is a 20th-century bay made from similar materials. A door in the right gable wall has been blocked. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
