Description
This barn, located approximately 25 meters north-north-east of Tubney Warren House, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick quoins and dressings, topped by a half-hipped old tile roof. The barn features an aisled 10-bay plan that includes two threshing floors. There are two midstreys with hipped roofs, which have 20th-century double doors and adjoining outshuts, as well as brick ventilation slits and dentilled eaves. Inside, the barn has a 10-bay collar-truss roof supported by butt purlins and braced posts. It is included for its group value and is shown on a map from 1767, referenced by Magdalene College, Oxford.
