Description
Thimble Hall is a house that likely dates from the mid-17th century. It features a rendered plinth and large timber framing with rendered infill, topped by a thatched roof and a brick end stack on the right side. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. A 20th-century plank door is located to the left of the center, with a 20th-century two-light casement window to the left and a 20th-century four-light casement window to the right. On the first floor, there is a 20th-century two-light casement window to the left and a 20th-century four-light casement window to the right. Inside, there is a 20th-century straight-flight staircase, an open fireplace on the ground floor to the right, and a Queen-post roof with windbraces. There is also a 20th-century addition to the left of the house.
