Description
No. 10 Argyll Close is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century, with later alterations and a 20th-century addition at the rear. The exterior features painted uncoursed stone rubble with brick dressings, and it has an old plain-tile roof that is hipped to the right and cross-gabled to the left. There is a brick stack at the left end and a ridge stack at the center. The house is two stories high and has a three-window range with a cross-wing to the left. A 20th-century panelled door is located on the right side of the cross-wing. The windows are mostly three-light casements, except for a four-light casement on the ground floor to the right and a two-light casement on the first floor to the right. Inside, the gable end of the cross-wing features a queen-post roof truss. The interior has not been inspected.
