Description

This barn, located approximately 10 meters southwest of Slade End Farmhouse, is likely from the mid-18th century. It features a coursed limestone rubble plinth and large timber framing covered with weatherboarding. The roof is made of corrugated iron and is half-hipped on the right side. The barn has four bays and includes a doorway without doors to the right of the center, with an opposing doorway at the rear that has double doors. Inside, there is a double queen post roof with some windbracing, although most of the common rafters are missing. This barn is included for its group value.
